Mr Ibrahim Magu, the suspended Acting Chairman of The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) who has been arrested and on detention for allegations of Corruption; currently undergoing probe under the Presidential Probe panel in Abuja since on Monday, has asked Mohammed Adamu, The Inspector General of police through his lawyer Mr Oluwatosin Ojaomo to have him released on bail.Financial crisis hits APC

Mr Oluwatosin Ojaomo, Magu’s lawyer said in his letter of bail application that they are ready to provide good surety bond that will ensure his client, Mr Ibrahim Magu is always available at anytime he’s needed to appear before the Presidential Panel for the investigation.

Copy of the letter was sent to His Excellency Mohammadu Buhari, the President of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria, The Chairman of the Presidential Probe Panel; Justice Salami Ayo(Rtd), The Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee on Anti Corruption; Prof Itsay Sagay(SAN), The Deputy Inspector General of Police charged with investigation and The Federal Criminal Investigation Department, Garki Abuja where Ibrahim Magu is been detained.
